FUTURE OLYMPIC WEIGHTLIFTING GOLD MEDALIST

Welcome to the world little Jace Begiebing. Proud father Austin reports the following stats: 8.5 lbs/21"/Born 4/1/2008. Maria went through 18 hours of labor.... I think there will not be a single Crossfit WOD she will not be able to handle. The new Crossfit shirt: "Your WOD ain't s**t... I had a baby." Congrats to Austin and Maria. Much love from me and everyone at One World.
The Daily Article Link.... click here: Hey Bradass, check this article out.... In a few more years you can do this!!! (Oh man...I am going to hell for that one.)
Side note: Kip posted to comments yesterday the question of what I did different to knock 22 seconds off my Fran PR. In all honesty, I can't think of anything I did different. It was just a "perfect alignment of the solar system" or something like that. I have tried Fran a bunch of different ways: empty stomach, full stomach, Fran in the morn, Fran at nite, Fran on no sleep, Fran after a nap, Fran by myself, Fran with others.... you get what I mean. I guess it was just time for me to get a huge PR. I will say that I got about 8.5 hours sleep. I woke up at 9am with a slight headache from chugging a bottle of wine the night before. I didn't eat any breakfast, I had half a venti coffee from Starbucks, then slammed a sugar free Rock Star about five minutes before I started Fran, which was about 2 hours after I woke up. Go figure..... By the way, the Rock Star tasted even worse coming back up. Thanks to Nick and Lara for being the support team. (Nick, you rounded your back on the deadlift again!)
REST DAY~~SKILLS DAY 4/3/2008
Great cycle the last three days. Tons of great numbers put up on the board. Take a break, come in and make up a workout you missed, or come in and practice some skills you might be deficient in.
The just for fun WOD:
13 rope climbs for time.
Does anyone remember what the One World record is? I think it's in the 4 minute range.
Be a machine.... Get up that rope! (The wierd ass stuff you can find on youtube...):

I bet Jace can snatch his bodyweight already....

CONGRATS from Tokyo!!!! He's beautiful! Maria, you are amazing! There will never be a time that Austin can come home and feel ok about whining about a WOD. I hope you and your family are well and I can't wait to meet the little guy. I'm both proud and envious of your strength.
Freddy....GREAT shirt. Fabulous.

Lara,
1. if you're in Japan - whilst you're there swing by down under on your way home! It's only an extra 10ish hours =P
2. So as to maintain your zone diet whilst in Japan there is actually a 5 star zone restaurant in tokyo Japan. When I have some time I'll dig up the details.
Austin congrats mate.

Freddy - How are you going to post a rest day and still post the 13 rope climbs "just for fun"? I've been waiting to see my improvement for this WOD, so I might just have to come in some time today.

Lara,
well beef is out of the question in most parts. I'd just say be weary of where you eat and most food is cooked in Gii (basically trans fat in a can)..
If you're there travelling I'd say go out to the local fruit/markets and pick everything you want fresh - could be quite confronting but you'll know what you get... Which parts of India are you going too My sisters actually lives in the North part at the moment...
