About Crossfit One World

  • How do you get started? Check out the links on the side bar entitled "What is Crossfit?" and "What is Fitness?" Next, come down to One World and watch a group session or participate in the always free Sunday morning workout session (no prior Crossfit experience necessary). You can experience first hand what a great time we have! After you have tasted a bit of the Koolaid, you will need to schedule your three introductory private training sessions. These sessions cover the fundamental movements you need to know to make your Crossfit training a much more enjoyable experience. (Private sessions may be scheduled as small groups also.) Upon completion of the private sessions, you may become a full fledged member or you may continue your training via private sessions. Contact freddy c. An invitation: Anyone who wants to hang out Friday night and help us get the gym ready for the Crossfit trainer certification this weekend is welcome to stop by anytime after 6pm. After the place is ready to go, we go out for margaritas and beer. First round is on me! The drinking session is a lot of fun. You might learn something new about one of your trainers. At the last margarita/beer session, we learned something new about Bradass. I will leave it to Bradass to tell the story....

I'm at the airport right now in Toronto... so excited to be coming out there!!! I'm going to try to make it out to One World to help set up for the Cert! YAY!!!!

well, after 4 days of working 15-17 hours days, and a night of Gin I woke up in the morning with the great idea of doing fight gone bad... with a 40 kgs push press and a 10 kg wall ball..
Lungs have just stopped hurting, and my head feels normal again.

Made up WOD: Fight Gone Bad -aka: Nasty Girls Gone Bad! Freddy has the pics. Great job, ladies! Raul, your an honorary member for today.

Cheryl came in and put the Evil Twin and I into headlocks. The only way she would release us was to do "Diane" with her! We all agreed to body weight for dead lifts (good thing! Cheryl is waaay too scary strong).

How I got suckered in to I do not know...hmmm (Maria, Mary) but ended up doing Fight Gone Bad (second time in a week)and while it was painful doing it, it felt good afterward. PR: 296 w/o RX
