WHERE NO ONE WORLDER HAS BEEN BEFORE

Introducing the only member of the Crossfit One World 300 Club: J.D. Stewart. When Crossfitting, we specialize in not specializing, so getting 300# overhead when you are not regularly weightlifting is impressive! Not the prettiest technique, but that's what makes it all the more incredible... When J.D. gets his form down better, I expect him to be the first member of the 350 Club. Great work J.D. and another round of applause for his wife, Britny, who having never done a split jerk before, hit 75#!

WOD   5/7/2008 (Compare to WOD 9/28/2008)

"Fight Gone Bad"

In this workout you move from each of five stations after a minute. This is a five-minute round from which a one-minute break is allowed before repeating. Complete three rounds. The stations are:

  1. Wall-ball (M:20#/W:14#), 10 ft target. (Reps)
  2. Sumo deadlift high-pull: 75# (Reps)
  3. Box Jump: 20" box (Reps)
  4. Push-press: 75# (Reps)
  5. Row: calories (Calories)

The clock does not reset or stop between exercises. On call of "rotate," the athlete must move to next station immediately for good score. One point is given for each rep, except on the rower where each calorie is one point.

Totaly !! JD has full potential for even more weight then that!! The guy is a F@#ken blast to train with to, I love seeing him walk through the door I know it is going to be a killer training session at that point,I wish he would make it in more often.

Holy brute strength Batman!!!

Freddy's right with improved form 350 if not 400 is right around the corner

Awesome JD!!! I knew you had it in you. I seem to recall you said you were probably going to only hit 200lbs. Hmmmmmm....

Hey props to Maria too!! I think she's about 115 lbs soaking wet and she nailed 120+ today!!! With a little more confidence I see her hitting at least 135. Wow!! Not too many people can even do their own bodyweight. You're a stud Maria!!!! See sometimes it pays to be the nice Twin.

Congratz JD... that was an awesome performance! Was it the water?

Awesome job JD!

Nice one JD.. Well it's almost midnight and I'm still at work =(
Not much longer to go though!!!

Tracey, thanks for the song, got it downloaded and on my ipod.

Freddy,

Since One World is closed for the seminars, can you post work outs that can be done at a park or at home?

Perhaps we can get a group together somewhere besides one world to stat on track.

Great job babe-now you have no excuses in the bedroom! My goal is to be like Mary, Maria, and Cheryl-these girls kick ass!

JD and Britny,

Nice work you two! It's awesome to watch you guys giving it your all on every WOD.

JD ... Joe's right, your celebration is priceless.

Britny ... let's see your celebration.

JD, nice lift!

Especially the Ronnie Coleman impersonation you were doing at the end. Great touch :)

"yeah baby" ....

I prefer JD's version though ;)

lol...check out the shit grin on the boss !! I told you Freddy is rock and roll!!

JD:
I showed your 300 performance to my class today. The women were disappointed to hear you are married to a lioness (Britny -you are one tough little lady). The men were very, very quiet.

Cheryl:
Thanks for the kick in the pants. I really appreciate the way you coach me (boot to ass). I just have to imagine that the barbell is a bad guy. The pvc pipe in my hip needed a tune up job today. I'll do this wod on friday.

Evil Twin: I have to beat your score! Friday will be D-Day!

Ran 5K - 25:25

Could have been a better time if 1/3 of the run wasn't directly into the wind!

Thanks for all the great comments guys and gals. I totally love the atmosphere in the one world gym. Freddy, you and the rest of the trainers are special individuals; I really don’t think you guys know how much of an impact you’ve made on everyone in the gym, especially on me. My wife Brit is a total inspiration to me. Just a little history about her ordeal the pasted 4 yrs, she’s had 14 surgeries as a result of injuries from child birth of Justice (little Blondie). Brit has an iliostomy (colostomy bag) and she’s living life to the fullest. I was a little worried about her coming to the gym….but …..Shit… she’s kicked my ass already in some of the WOD’S.. What the Fuck over, I love it. Hopefully this summer Brit and I will be able to invite everyone over to the house for some BBQ and yes Freddy adult drinks…! Everyone at One World has the Warrior Spirit….. YEAH BABY…..!!!!!!

Fight Gone Bad PR: First time w/this one and at the end I nearly passed out, puked, and could taste blood at the back of my throat from breathing so hard :)

Row: 10/9/7
W.B: 13/16/12
SDLHP: 20/13/16
Box Jump: 15/11/15
Push Press: 32/25/20 Total 234

I forgot to mention that you did really good Tia-your form really improved with the W.B.'s-and you kicked my ass in numbers! Thanks for pushing me and being my partner-your awesome!

224-Shit hole performance

My next rest day, im doing this again!!!

Nice job to Will, it was very motivating to watch him kick the shit out of the workout.

First fight gone bad- 321 reps.

Can't remember the exact breakdown.

Thanks for the vintage moto Freddy, Chong,

Nick.

Rock 'n Roll.

Britny,
