  • How do you get started? Check out the links on the side bar entitled "What is Crossfit?" and "What is Fitness?" Next, come down to One World and watch a group session or participate in the always free Sunday morning workout session (no prior Crossfit experience necessary). You can experience first hand what a great time we have! After you have tasted a bit of the Koolaid, you will need to schedule your three introductory private training sessions. These sessions cover the fundamental movements you need to know to make your Crossfit training a much more enjoyable experience. (Private sessions may be scheduled as small groups also.) One World trainer Joe D.ran his Crossfit faith healing session on Sunday morning. Check out Joe forcing poor sit-up form out of One World trainer Chong. At first I thought Jason (in the background with his hand on his head) was not buying into Joe's sermon, but then I realized this picture was taken after the warm-up, and Jason  completed the warm-up (and then the workout) wearing that 20# vest.

Sorry everyone... I fell asleep on the couch before I finished posting the new schedule. I also failed to proof read my post, so I didn't catch that today is a rest day. So....rest...or make up that workout. I actually planned on posting the split jerk tomorrow.

It's not that I was bored or anything, it's just that I was rethinking using the vest for the entire workout. Contrary to popular belief, the vests do NOT get lighter the longer you have them on.

Maria, thanks for the words of encouragement for Daniel, I'll pass them along.
Tia missed you guys too (even the evil twin), I got dirty looks all day for taking her Sunday workout away so I could bring in some guys from my lacrosse team. They loved it by the way. Joe and Chong are fantastic instructors!

I see the Clone has brain-washed all of you. I'll be aiming for her left floating rib today...

JasonK, your kids worked their butts off on Sunday! Nice to see youngsters working out as hard as us oldsters.

What up Freddy. I'm training at CrossFit San Diego this week. They have a great gym and a cool staff but it is nothing like home...take care of the lab rats and JD for me.
