The 9am deadlift session at One World on 11/21/2008 was quite the event! Jason "Bullfrog" Tsypkin, one of the owners of Crossfit Monterey showed up. Catra Corbett showed up with her boyfriend, Carl Borg, one of the owners of Crossfit Newport Beach and one of the trainers for Crossfit Endurance.
Check out the results:
Bullfrog hit 420#...a new PR by 15#!Catra hit 165#....a new PR by 30#!!!
Carl hit 340#.....a new PR by 5#. This shot was taken on the way down afterwards.
For some reason he didn't want to hold the wait up for very long at the end of the lift so I could snap the shot. :-)Jacob, Catra and Carl. Good times!

Freddy, thanks for having me. It was a great time. Don't think I would have PR'd on my own! Carl and Catra, it was awesome meeting and training with you. I still think you're both completely insane, though. Really, who runs a hundred miles without a gun to their head? Come on! Hahaha.

Don't forget your shoes!
1. Snatch: work up to 65%, then 5 reps in a minute on the minute, then, 70%x1x5, and 75%x1x5. Finally, 78%x1, 80%x1, 83%x1, 85%x1, 88%x1, 90%x1 remember the first 15 reps are on the minute. The last 5 sets take 3-4 minutes rest in between.
2. Snatch deadlift: 100%+30# x 3,+10 x 3
3. Chins: 25
4. Abs: 50 (GHD)
