On June 27th, One World will be hosting a Member Appreciation BBQ at Lake Elizabeth in Fremont. One World will be supplying food and beverages for all our Crossfit, Krav Maga, and BJJ members plus their families. We have already reserved the picnic area. Added bonus, we will be doing a group workout in the park! Its a chance to unleash some Crossfit on everyone else in the park!
We will have sign up sheets at the gym sometime this week. We need to know a halfway accurate number of people attending so we can get enough food. Stay tuned!

Coach's Corner: Love your back!!! Its a heavy weight. After coming off the first round of hip extension you are going to be surprised how tired your back, glutes, and hamstrings will be. These are the major muscle groups that are used during your deadlifts! Your form is going to start going to crap pretty quickly if you don't concentrate on your technique. Choose wisely when deciding on what weight you are going to deadlift. I had Will do this workout and he finished in just under 7 minutes...so I would say most of us should be able to do this workout in 10 minutes or less.
