Big apologies to Anna, Cheryl and Jenn for me not posting this pic sooner. On October 3rd, they completed the San Jose Rock n' Roll Half Marathon. I remember when Cheryl couldn't even run all the way around the block without taking a break. Great job ladies and kudos to Anna for representing with the cool CrossFit One World tank top!

Iowa, If you would of seen cheryl just over a year ago, you would be in shock. Everything from her workout capacity to her body has changed! Might sound Korny but I am proud of her. She has set a killer example for woman that are in her age group (I will not expose her age)to me she is early 30's :)

Thanks to Cheryl and Jen for running with me (well, way ahead of me...but...). I set a 2:30 goal for myself and ended up with 2:22, so I was pretty happy!
I felt so amazing endurance wise, but my feet were cramping like mad the last 2 miles. (If I'm going to do that again, I need to get my feet and stride tested.) It was so rewarding to pass the 10K marker, then 15K and 20K. The longest I had ever run before was 10K and I thank CrossFit and our trainers for getting my endurance level to a point where I could finish 13.1 miles!
Thanks guys and maybe next time we'll have more One Worlders running with us!

A friend of mine wrote about being introduced to CrossFit on his blog. He features Freddy & Will's Deadlift/Burpee WOD video.

I'm not gonna lie... my typical gym routine looked his before I began CrossFit.
