Right there with you PB. It's also just the psychology of having someone there that kind of frees your mind to rep it out. Hey does anyone out there struggle with the bar slipping? I'm in the minority that does low bar and every week I struggle with the rack around rep 8 or so when it seems it's going to fall off. Then I round and I have to re-rack to set it straight again, so I'm cheating every week. It's not a true max effort.

I've been doing the Wendler 5/3/1 program in my garage gym and would LOVE to have a spotter. My lazy ass workout "partners" are flaky at best, so I'm usually stuck squatting and benching alone.

Those extra reps you'll get with a spotter are huge when it comes to making strength gains...so use one!
