I hung up a new CrossFit One World banner at the gym, and the girls paid tribute to it before they started their workout. We will do this to start every training session from now on.......
Totally just kidding, but the picture made me think. There are those that hate on CrossFit. I read their comments on forums or read their blogs and I get where they are coming from on some of their points. There is one point I don't get. I've read comments by haters that state most people in CrossFit are just a bunch of people who never played a real sport, or who never "belonged" to anything before. I don't get it. There is something wrong with that?
Not everyone wants to lift a house. Most normal people have no desire to compete in the CrossFit Games or even do local CrossFit competitions. So what is wrong with just wanting to workout? Why is it bad if people make friends and come to the gym to train with them? I want to have good time when I workout. I think that is the difference between working out at a CrossFit gym versus a commercial gym. It's the comraderie and friendships that keep people coming back. If you think that is wrong, you have to be a fucking idiot or a person who simply doesn't like people.
I've been training people for over five years now. I'll be honest, there are plenty of days when I coach at 6:30 in the morning and all I really want to do is sleep in. There are days when I feel like I want to be anywhere but at the gym coaching a group session. But then the session starts and you people just make me one happy mofo. I know it's what keeps me coming back and all the other trainers too. You all make training fun. I love you for that!
Now bow to the logo you cult followers!!

I'd say to invite these "haters" for a free session and give them a taste of crossfit. When I hear these comments, I know that there's a hint of jealously and envy, in my opinion. Crossfit helped me become stronger and I've developed many friendships within a short period of time. I may not be as strong or have a lot of stamina like others do, but sure as hell I give all I got and feel great about that! As a result, I'm getting stronger every day. THANKS YOU GUYS! I'm with O.G tony, YEAH CROSSFIT!

Maybe those "haters" think that a real sport is cheerleading.

I can't imagine many of us would have found each other at commercial gyms, do crazy but effective workouts with evident improvement, get together hanging out eating and enjoying each other's company, doing workouts in honor of people who serve us with sacrafice, making friends by sharing in making ourselves better and bonding while suffering together in something that really challenges us and sucks at the same time, and blog about it all sharing comments..without some guy that made Crossfit..like him or not. He and his group were sharp enough to understand that community was part of the appeal and magic of why this works. You know, Steve Jobs is supposed to be a real difficult guy to work for...but look what he did to change our lives..and that facebook dude as well. Sometimes it is better to appreciate those that made something that becomes part of making our lives different rather than taking pot shots at them. That's easy..kind of like doing being on a stationary bike while watching the TV. Just my two cents from the peanut gallery.

In a gym a good trainer is must required because he explain all the things to the trainee. He gives the basic rules and regulations to the trainee. After this people will choose and select the place where he working out at a Cross Fit gym and a commercial gym.

Pretty sure Knowshon Moreno (RB Denver Broncos) is an avid Crossfitter. Sure there are many more due to the fact that Crossfit gets you in emaculant physical/mental shape through its grueling workouts.

I played basketball in middle school; does that count? My mom is Brasilian, so of course the first 9 years of my life were all about soccer, too. I even went to boot camp for the Air Force, and even though they kicked me out for having asthma, I still remember the PT and drill and all that as being of part of something (hell, I raised my right hand; how many anonymous commenters can say that?). All I know is, as far as I've seen and read and heard, crossfit is the McBEAST of workouts, up there with whatever those guys in 300 did. I like it so far, even though I've only been to two workouts in as many days so far, but I literally just started, fresh out the gates from the personal training sessions. So let em' comment, let em' hate! It's the farking internet, and it only means something if we give it meaning!
