Thanks, Freddy....this is just what I needed to hear/read/see, as a newbie to CF. My first group session was last Monday and I was pretty discouraged....mostly out of frustration at not remembering all the techniques that Brad showed me during our 1:1 sessions....especially with him standing in the back, and Anna having to constantly monitor/correct me, I felt like a LOSER! I realize now that I am just on a VERY steep learning curve right now, and need to allow myself time to master the techniques. In the meantime, I have to remind myself to ENJOY the journey, even if I look like an uncoordinated fool in the process! I'm determined to get a 6-pack by age 50, and the clock is ticking (barely 2 years...ugh)....I can do this!! See you tonight, Anna!

Thanks for posting Freddy!

It helps to have a clear goal in mind, and a map for getting there.

I still hate getting up so early in the morning, but the feeling of calling "Time!" at the completion of the WOD makes it worthwhile.

excuses are like assholes. everyone got one and they all STINK! put in 100% and if you are on the floor, pick yourself up and stop whining.

Oh, I remember exactly how I was feeling in that pic...much like how I felt yesterday after the Diamond in the Tough workout. Bleh. :-{ But I keep coming back for more! Good times! ;0)
