The Spirit of Christmas is alive and well at One World. We even have a tree this year!
Here are the details for our White Elephant Christmas Party:
The party starts at 7:30pm on 12/21. Everyone who wants to be involved in the White Elephant gift exchange needs to bring a wrapped adult gift valued at $10-$20. Besides the adult gift to get you into the gift exchange, we are taking it one step further this year in the spirit of giving. Please bring a gift wrapped toy for a child (say up to 13 years old). The child's gift can be any price you would like to spend. Please mark the gift appropriately (boy/girl/both). We will collect all the toys. Any children that show up for the White Elephant Party will get a toy. All other left over toys will be donated to Toys For Tots. Toys For Tots is always a good cause.
This party is also a pot luck. Just snack foods, desserts, and tasty beverages. There were some pretty delicious holiday themed desserts last year, not to mention a few adult beverage mixes that were yummy!
Hope to see you all there. You don't want to miss out on classic moments like this:

WORKOUT 12/5/2012
- 5 rep max sumo deadlift
Then....
You will complete this 10 times. Start a running clock. You have one minute to complete 100m row and then max kettlebell swings (pick weight) with the time remaining. Rest 30 seconds between efforts. If two people are sharing a rower, stagger start the second person 30 seconds after the first person. Post weight used and total swings.

We know the world doesn't revolve around us, but what are the chances of having the Christmas party on 12/22 Saturday instead? It's Myles' birthday on 12/21 and we're going to dinner. We would hate to miss out on the fun. I'm not trying to ask you to bend over backwards for us, just thought it wouldn't hurt to ask since we want to be there! By the way, I love the color combo of those ornaments. They're the color of the OW logo.

What is the relationship between sumo and regular deadlifts? What I mean is, should you lift more, less, or the same weight?

Glad this year we won't b out of town for the OW white elephant- and I really do appreciate the cost collection & toys for tots collection! It's more fun to be at a place that tries to give a little back.

That hat always cracks me up. Nice lift, Kevin! I'm planning to make deviled eggs to the party.
