Speaking of J.D.- interesting that two of the biggest guys in the gym (J.D. at around 270# and Eric G. at around 235#) did the least amount of pull-ups in the 100 pull-up/burpee WOD on 1/9/2009. (I think both did 60 burpees total) The challenge was to do 100 pull-ups for time, but you had to do 10 burpees everytime you let go of the bar. Their times were alot slower, but their superior grip strength allowed them to hang on the bar longer than the rest of us. Pretty impressive given their heavier bodyweights.
