I posted this video for two reasons.
- I ride a motorcycle at work too, and this video just made me say, “WOW!” If you’ve never ridden a motorcycle before, it takes mad skills to do what this guy can do on his scooter.
- The guy put in a lot of practice to get that good at his motorcycle riding skills. (I wonder if he ever does any work, or if he is only practicing riding his bike….lol.)
Now to relate the video to you…..
You will notice that when it is a “Make-Up Day,” I usually post “work on a skill.” Working on a skill can mean different things to different people. Some people like to work on things they are already good at (see above video). Others like to work at skills they are not good at (see above video and remember that once he rode that bike for the first time).
When it comes to your free time that you spend in the gym, there is nothing wrong with practicing the things you are good at. You will get better at those things. Remember that if you work to get better at the things you suck at, it will generally also improve the things you are good at. Something to think about on your next Make-Up Day.

WORKOUT 7/21/2011
Complete four rounds for time of:
- 8 thrusters (W:95#/M:135#)
- 8 burpees
- 8 power cleans
- 8 pull-ups
Scale accordingly. I did this workout last week, and those thrusters kicked my ass and stole my lunch money.

Chyna, thanks for the too long and too short targets. That helps a lot in figuring out scaling--knowing what the programmer is shooting for. Lots of times we are all just honey badgers who, like Sina put it, show up, people tell us what to do, and we just do it.

That's difficult with BMW, insane with 900lb V-twin.
