In order to avoid conflicts with Memorial Day Weekend (5/24), we have bumped the 880 Cup competition up one week. The in-house qualifiers will happen on May 10th & 11th. The Battle For The 880 Cup will happen on May 17th. Exact times for all events will be announced later.
I bought the 880 Cup yesterday. IT'S LEGIT!!! The thing weighs a ton, and the winning team can easily drink a six pack out of the cup.
CrossFit One World, CrossFit of Fremont, CrossFit Jigsaw, or CrossFit Milpitas..... Who wants to take the 880 Cup home to their gym???
Each gym will send ten women and ten men to the Battle For The 800 Cup. It's going to be an individual competition, but each teammate will score points toward their team score. I posted the qualifier workouts on 3/31 (click here). Here are the final workouts for the main event. START PRACTICING!!!
FLOATER WORKOUT-
3 rounds for time of:
- 25 yard prowler push (Weight on prowler: 140#/90#)
- 5 box over burpees (M:24"/W:20")
WORKOUT #1-
3 rounds for time of:
- 10 push balls (M:20#-10'/W:14#-9')
- 10 wallballs (same)
- Run around building with medball (approx 350m)
WORKOUT #2-
As many rounds as possible in 6 minutes of:
- 40 single jump rope skips
- 10 alternating one arm dumbbell snatches
Athlete will pick dumbbell weight. Score is total accumulated weight lifted overhead in six minutes.
WORKOUT #3-
4 rounds for time of:
- 10 plate burpees (M:25#/W:15#)
- 48' walking overhead lunge with plate
FINAL WORKOUT-
5 rounds for time of:
- 6 deadlifts
- 4 hand power cleans
- 2 shoulder to overhead
- 10 lateral jumps over the bar
M:135#/W:95#

- Hang power clean- 2 on the minute for 10 minutes (pick weight)
Then....
Complete 4 rounds for time of:
- 15 American kettlebell swings (M:53#/W:35#)
- 12 chest to bar pull-ups
- 30 double unders
